Macaroni Cheese

Ingredients
  • 185 g macaroni
  • 90 g butter
  • ¼ cup flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • 300 ml milk
  • 185 g cheese
  • 310 g can tomato soup
  • 125 g bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 1 small green pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • extra grated cheese
Instructions
  1. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water 12-15 minutes, or until tender. Drain. Melt butter in saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in flour and seasonings. Return to heat and cook1 minute. Add milk gradually, stirring until sauce boils and thickens. Remove from heat and add grated cheese and tomato soup. Mix well. Gently heat sauce, do not boil. Fry lightly chopped onion and chopped green pepper. Add to sauce. Mix thoroughly. Place mixture into casserole dish. Sprinkle with extra grated cheese. Bake in moderate oven 25-30 minutes. Serves 4 - 6.
