Gran's Chops Aloha

Ingredients
  • 1 kg lamb chump chops
  • 1 teaspoon of flour
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green capsicum, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon dry mustard
  • 420 g can vegetable soup
  • ¼ cup claret
  • 1 cup pineapple pieces, well drained
Instructions
  1. Remove fat from chops and coat with flour. Combine onion, capsicum, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, dry mustard, soup, claret and pineapple pieces. Mix well.
  2. Place half the chops in the bottom of a casserole dish and pour over half the sauce. Repeat layers with the remaining chops then sauce. Cover and bake in a moderate oven (190oC) for 2 hours or until chops are tender.
  3. Serves 6.
