Ingredients
  • 350 g caster sugar
  • 80 g cocoa powder
  • 60 g plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 200g unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 200g dark chocolate, roughly chopped
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 160oC fan forced (180oC conventional). Line a 22cm square baking tin with baking paper.
  2. Place sugar, cocoa powder, flour and baking powder in a bowl and stir to combine. Add eggs, butter and vanilla and mix until combined. Stir in chocolate.
  3. Pour brownie batter into prepared tin and bake for 40-45 minutes. Take them out of the oven while still gooey in the middle.
  4. Leave brownies to cool slightly in the tin, then turn out onto a wire rack. When cool, cut into squares to serve.
