Ingredients
- 350 g caster sugar
- 80 g cocoa powder
- 60 g plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 200g unsalted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 200g dark chocolate, roughly chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 160oC fan forced (180oC conventional). Line a 22cm square baking tin with baking paper.
- Place sugar, cocoa powder, flour and baking powder in a bowl and stir to combine. Add eggs, butter and vanilla and mix until combined. Stir in chocolate.
- Pour brownie batter into prepared tin and bake for 40-45 minutes. Take them out of the oven while still gooey in the middle.
- Leave brownies to cool slightly in the tin, then turn out onto a wire rack. When cool, cut into squares to serve.
