Ingredients
  • 125 g short crust pastry
  • 60 g sugar
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 125 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • jam
Instructions
  1. Roll pastry thinly and line patty tins. Put jam in each. Beat butter and sugar. Add beaten egg, then milk and sifted flour. Put a teaspoon of mixture on top of jam and then a thin strip of pastry on top. Bake in a hot oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
