Ingredients
  • Line a 20 cm pie plate with pastry and bake.
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Meringue
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • ½ teaspoon cream of tartar
Instructions
  1. Boil all together, stirring constantly. When thick and smooth pour into cooked shell and cover with meringue. Bake until golden brown.
Meringue
  1. Beat all together until stiff.
