Ingredients
- Line a 20 cm pie plate with pastry and bake.
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon plain flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Meringue
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- pinch of salt
- ½ teaspoon cream of tartar
Instructions
- Boil all together, stirring constantly. When thick and smooth pour into cooked shell and cover with meringue. Bake until golden brown.
Meringue
- Beat all together until stiff.
