Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup icing sugar (or ½ cup icing sugar and ½ cup castor sugar)
- 1 dessertspoon boiling water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla or 1 dessertspoon of brandy or rum
Instructions
- Cream the butter and sugar. Add water and flavouring and beat until very light and fluffy. For orange hard sauce substitute 1 teaspoon grated orange rind for the vanilla.
