Raspberry Rum Sauce

Ingredients
  • 250 g thawed frozen raspberries, undrained
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons cornflour
  • ¼ cup white rum
  • 2 ½ cups vanilla ice cream
Instructions
  1. Mix raspberries with cornflour until smooth. Bring to boil in a saucepan stirring constantly. Reduce heat, simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Allow to cool. Refrigerate 1 hour. Just before serving, stir rum into sauce. Serve over ice cream. Sauce is equally delicious served warm. Serves 2
