Ingredients
  • 1 bbq cook de boned into small pieces
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 clove of garlic crushed
  • 3 tbs chopped shallots
  • 2 small carrots, finely sliced
  • ½ cup frozen peas
  • 125g sliced mushrooms
  • salt
  • pepper
  • frozen reay-rolled shortcrust pastry thawed
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten
Instructions
  1. Bone chicken and place flesh into a large saucepan
  2. add remaning ingredients - except pasty and egg yolk
  3. season to taste
  4. cook over a low - medium heat for 10 - 15 minutes stirring occasionally
  5. spoon into pie dishes
  6. cover with pasty and brush with egg yolk - cut a cross in the middle
  7. cook in oven 190 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes until pastry is ready
