quick and easy pie
Ingredients
- 1 bbq cook de boned into small pieces
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 1 clove of garlic crushed
- 3 tbs chopped shallots
- 2 small carrots, finely sliced
- ½ cup frozen peas
- 125g sliced mushrooms
- salt
- pepper
- frozen reay-rolled shortcrust pastry thawed
- 1 egg yolk, beaten
Instructions
- Bone chicken and place flesh into a large saucepan
- add remaning ingredients - except pasty and egg yolk
- season to taste
- cook over a low - medium heat for 10 - 15 minutes stirring occasionally
- spoon into pie dishes
- cover with pasty and brush with egg yolk - cut a cross in the middle
- cook in oven 190 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes until pastry is ready
